Chapter Two On Monday, 3, November a delivery truck arrived with my replacement scooter. See how the Second Scooter Arrived I contacted Scooterdemand and informed them of the condition of the second scooter and that I had not accepted the shipment. When they flatly refused to send a third replacement, I stopped payment on the purchase because they failed to deliver as advertised. I contacted my Visa Card company and waited the results. Meanwhile I was without a Scooter or money to purchase something else until the dispute was settled. The bank informed me that ScooterDemand had until 21 December to rebut my claim. (45 days) I contacted the bank on the 45th day and learned no action had been taken to rebut my claim. I thought the matter was closed and my money refunded. On the 16th of January 2007 I received a letter from the bank wanting more information about my claim. It appears that ScooterDemand waited until the last possible deadline to file their counter claim. I faxed my complete story along with many pictures displayed here to the bank. The bank was supposed to review everything on the 20th.I contacted the Bank on the 22nd for the results. They told me the case had been reviewed and they sent something (I know not what.) to who have another 30 days to respond. Once again I waited on a decision from a large corporation to do the honorable thing and simply refund my money. It took six month from the time I ordered the scooter until the Winwin Auto group's ScooterDemand conceded to refund my money. On Feb. 9th I learned from my bank that the matter was finally closed. So ends the Saga of my Roketa 250 or so I thought see Chapter 3. |
